Governance

The Buchanan Trust is governed through a corporate trustee, The Buchanan Trustee Company Ltd, and its board of directors is proud to pledge their commitment to The Armed Forces Covenant.

Our Pledge

The Trust ensures that all trustees/directors are representative and have a suitable skills base. This is reviewed annually to ensure that the Trust takes into consideration any changes in circumstances. All trustees serve a maximum 5 year fixed term, to allow new ideas and experience so that the Trust evolves. Retention of any Directors will be assessed at the time and where felt appropriate for the Trust.
